Amy Stanley Named a Finalist at WiS Awards 2024

We are pleased to announce that our Head of Events & Festivals, Amy Stanley, has been named a finalist at Professional Magazine’s Women in Security Awards.

She has been shortlisted in the ‘Security Manager’ category, which continues to emphasise her dedication to her team and the wider industry. Earlier this year, Amy was awarded ‘Outstanding Security Manager of the Year’ at the OSPAs. Following this, she has been entered into the Global OSPAs in the same category, which will be held in 2025.

Amy joined FGH Security as an apprentice just over a decade ago. In this time, she has demonstrated how far hard work and a commitment to professional development can take you. In addition to her personal development, Amy is a mentor to those enrolled on our Management Training Program. She’s a role model for both women and young people entering the industry.

Amy’s multifaceted approach—blending technology integration, training innovation, and stakeholder collaboration—has revolutionised our events services, a great example of  Keeping People Safe and Be Great Today, Better Tomorrow.

Congratulations, Amy, for this well-deserved recognition, and to all the incredible finalists. In what is still such a male-dominated industry, we pride ourselves on having a diverse team. We, like the Women in Security Awards, believe it is important to celebrate our exceptional female team members.

We’re looking forward to the award ceremony on 12th September, held at Shakespeare’s Underglobe Theatre in London.
