Peter Harrison
Peter founded FGH in 2003; fed up with poor standards and how security companies treated people. He places a large emphasis on making sure FGH Security is a great place to work, changing perceptions of the industry and making sure customers are continually impressed.
His industry qualifications include a Crowd Management certificate and he has worked as Security Manager at dozens of large events over the past decade. He regularly speaks on topics such as entrepreneurship, CSR, growth, teamwork and achieving results.
Initially graduating with a BSc (Hons) in Management Science he also attained an MBA from Lancaster University in 2017, giving him the skills to keep driving a multi-million-pound SME forward. HR, strategy, and lean management are his main strengths.
When not working he loves travelling with family, chess, reading and the outdoors. He has climbed many of Europe’s’ highest peaks and has Everest on his goal list. Additionally, he is a charity trustee and a serving reservist within the Royal Marines, having passed his commando course in 2009.

Lyndsay Holt
With over two decades of experience in business to business operations and staff resourcing, Lyndsay has applied her intuitive staff management skills across various industry sectors including media and haulage. She focuses on the recruitment, retention and welfare of the frontline team at FGH Security.
She is currently studying towards a Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources Management, a highly driven person, a natural protagonist and has an infectious ‘can do’ attitude which mirrors the qualities we look for in our candidates. She prides herself on being able to identify talent from inside and outside the industry and understands the success and development of our team is based on how well these people match our values and unique culture.
Is an advocate continual improvement and getting the most out of life. Away from FGH she enjoys combining travel and photography, live music and events, and creative pursuits with friends and family.

Ben Knott
Ben has worked in the security industry for over a decade. He is considered one of the UK’s leading experts in safety at licensed premises and is regularly asked for comment on regional and national security related issues.
As the Senior Operations Manager for FGH he ensures that the right people work at the right places and oversees all the key partnerships the company has. He plays a key role in ensuring we consistently deliver on our brand promises and his innovations help drive our service delivery forward.
He is currently studying for his MBA and when he isn’t studying or working, Ben loves nothing more than spending time with his daughter and watching his beloved Everton FC

Chris Stoves
Chris is our Compliance Manager. He ensures FGH complies with all relevant UK legislation and industry specific requirements to enable our business operations to be as professional and effective as possible.
Prior to joining FGH, Chris studied Psychology at Oklahoma State University before embarking on a successful military career with the Royal Marines. Since leaving the Royal Marines in 2013 Chris has worked for global manufacturing and retail organisations, predominantly in Health, Safety and Environmental Management specialising in implementing integrated compliance management systems.
When not working Chris enjoys fell walking, watching and coaching rugby union, sampling real ales and spending time with his family.

David Hassall
Dave gained his BSc (Hons) degree In Marketing and Advertising from one of the UK’s leading business schools and has applied it over 16 years to have a successful career helping to establish FGH as the market leader for manned security services in the UK. He specialises in digital marketing, key external relationship management and business development.
Originally, he began working for the company as a Door Supervisor whilst at university and often still uses his experience to work in a managerial capacity for the company at the large events, festivals and venues it provides to. He enjoys spending time with the members of the FGH team, ensuring they have the best possible experience while working for the company, and playing a key role in the company’s outreach and CSR activity.
In his spare time he likes to spend time with his miniature dachshund, refining his design and marketing skills and weightlifting.

Amy Stanley
Amy has been with FGH since she started as an apprentice in 2014, since then she has gone on to become one of the company’s key members of managerial staff and now oversees the company’s large festival and event deployments and key contract management. She has taken full advantage of the training opportunities the company offers and holds a Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management, a Level 3 Award in Education and Training and a Level 5 Certificate in Crowd (delivered by Professor Keith Still and accredited by Manchester Metropolitan University).
Amy also works in a managerial operation capacity for the company and is respected and liked by other members of the FGH team. This often sees her working on the ground herself, overseeing dynamic deployments and motivating those around her.
Besides playing rugby union for Lancashire she also enjoys the outdoors and was a Leader for the Explorers.

Louise Grant
Louise is our Operations Manager who oversees our Door Supervision division in Manchester. Despite her youthful looks she has been working in the security industry for nearly a decade and has spent the last five as part of FGH. She prides herself on working alongside and getting the best out of the staff she manages and still regularly works on the frontline as a Security Manager.
Louise has a degree in Physics from the University of Salford, giving her the skills to work with precision in high pressure situations. She is known for being a hardworking, driven and confident member of the team.
Outside of work Louise enjoys long walks with her pug, Belle.

Tom Sharman
Tom oversees the management of our security teams at our larger venues and students’ union venues throughout the northwest. Prior to joining FGH full time as an Operations Manager Tom worked in a range of bars and nightclubs and then transitioned in to becoming part of FGH’s festivals and events team. This gives Tom the ability to ensure the teams we deploy match their exact needs and requirements and understand the role they play in a venue’s and event’s wider operation. He also holds a degree in Law and a degree in Criminology, both from Lancaster University.
Outside of work Tom is a conscientious family man, he enjoys live music, theatre and a nice long walks with his dogs.

Hannah Priestley
Hannah is Peter’s personal assistant and her main priority is to ensure the MD can operate as efficiently as possible; so he can spend as much time as possible with customers and developing the organisation. Hannah’s job is extremely varied and no two days are ever the same. She is often found working in the office at festivals, joining Peter to visit customers, conducting surveys, organising meetings and carrying out lots of behind-the-scenes administration. She gets involved in a lot of HR projects, and works alongside the MD to ensure items like the office reward days are organised well.
Hannah graduated in Sports Development and Coaching, Strength Conditioning & Business in 2015. Since then she has spent time working in a management position within the leisure sector, prior to joining FGH as the Managing Director’s Personal Assistant in June 2018.
Outside of work Hannah likes keeping fit, an avid football player and Captain / Manager of Galgate Ladies FC. As well as playing for Galgate FC, she regularly helps out Morecambe Ladies FC Reserves when available. She is half-Swedish and bi-lingual, so enjoys travelling there and visiting family when possible. Other trips have included; Fiji, Croatia, Canada and Kuala Lumpur.

Zoey Davies
Prior to joining FGH Zoey worked in financial and payroll management for two national brands and brings a wealth of financial and administrative experience to FGH. However, she isn’t just your usual accountant or payroll clerk and combines her technical knowledge with real people skills.
Zoey’s role as office manager allows her to champion projects, resolve any issues and support the rest of the senior management and operations team to ensure we provide as much support to our team as possible, allowing them to focus on doing the best possible job.
Zoey’s main duties are to oversee the finances and administration within the company and ensure our payroll and client finances are correct, up to date and efficient. Her extreme organisational skills ensure the front-line team are always in the correct uniforms, with the correct equipment, looking their best for all our clients.
Outside of work, Zoey has two young children who keep her extremely busy when we don’t, and she enjoys spending time and socialising with her friends.

Daniel Hirst
Dan is our Marketing Officer. Before his life in FGH Security, he worked in many highly competitive industry sectors including radio, policing, fitness and even baby formula. Dan graduated from the University of Sunderland in 2014 with a BA (Hons) degree in Media Production giving him the skills to make high-quality creative content with a technical mindset.
Dan works closely with Dave, supporting him in marketing, digital design and branding. He is our roving reporter in the fields specialising in film production and social media, rarely seen without a camera he is most likely taking photos or shooting promo videos or editing those shots together.
When not working Dan has an avid interest in live music, events, film and photography. He is often hitting the trails, hiking in Lancashire and Cumbria or visiting family back home in County Durham.

Abby Edmunds
Having joined the team as Vetting Officer in January 2012 Abby is the stalwart of the FGH team. Since then she has been involved in almost all facets of the organisation from logistics through to copy editing but her current remit covers training administration, licence management and payroll. You may also see her on the ground at some of our larger festival deployments over the summer.
Abby has Masters in Victorian literature and is currently working towards completion of her PHD which addresses class in Victorian Children’s literature. Juggling working at FGH with studying doesn’t leave her a lot of time but what time she does is occupied with fielding her collection of animals (3 dogs, 1 cat), running and attending gigs and concerts.

Elaine Bertzick
Elaine is the Screening Officer for FGH Security. She has been working at the cutting edge of administration since 2012. She is a people person who provides a happy, smiling face to all who grace the office, serving as the first point of contact in person and on the phone.
She has completed an NVQ in customer service and is currently undertaking advanced qualifications in Business Administration.
Elaine is fluent in two languages, English and her native German and has raised both her young children as bilingual too in order to give them the best range of options for later life.

Caitlin Rose Birkett-Rothwell
Caitlin Rose is responsible for overseeing the initial screening of new employees during the festival season, she ensures all employees are screened to BS7858/12 standard. Outside of festival periods, she works on several projects to help make the company more efficient. She has been with the company for 18 months and enjoys becoming involved in all aspects of the business. You may see her invigilating exams for the SIA course, or find her in the hub at some of the larger festivals.
She recently completed a degree in English Literature and is currently studying for her MBA. Outside of FGH Caitlin loves reading, and hopes to pursue a career in Business.
