Mark joined FGH Security in mid-2021 as our Operations Manager, predominately overseeing our major Crowd Safety and security operations, including the development of our training and systems.

Mark began his career in safety and security, when working as a part time steward at football and concerts at Celtic Football Club, Rangers Football Club, Scottish Football Association, Academy Music Group and Scottish Event Campus (SEC). This was six months after taking redundancy from full time employment to be a house husband for his growing family.

Mark found a passion for the industry and moved through the ranks. From Steward to operations manager over the following years. Either assisting or leading on some of the most exciting events in the UK for DF Concerts & Events, AEG Presents UK and Glasgow City Council to name but a few.

In his spare time, Mark also runs a website called Working with Crowds. Working with Crowds started off as a personal reference library after Mark’s first return to Buckinghamshire New University and has grown from there.

Mark had the pleasure of spending sometime working for those that protect His Holiness the 14th Dali Lama. An inspiration prior to and has provided moments of reflection and joy since.
