We are pleased to announce that we have secured the renewal of one of our most prestigious and popular contracts for another three years. Staff and fans of FGH alike will be delighted to have it confirmed that we will be pounding the streets of Manchester again this August to ensure that all those attending Manchester Pride’s The Big Weekend have a safe and enjoyable experience. Since FGH started providing for The Big Weekend in 2013 the event has been one of the highlights of our events calendar.
The Big Weekend encompasses FGH’s core values of Staff, Clients and Community and 2016 would not have been the same without it. This year will see The Big Weekend’s organisers put on a glittering fairytale-themed extravaganza with additional sparkle added by star turns including Fleur East, Katy B and Will Young. FGH’s Business Director Wesley Downham will be resuming his Close Protection role at Pride after having looked after Sir Ian McKellen in 2015. ‘This is a good news week for FGH’ states Wesley. ‘We are clearly delighted at the outcome of the audit but the news about The Big Weekend really is the cherry on top. The Big Weekend is a chance for all involved in FGH, from managers to frontline staff, to roll their sleeves up and all muck in. Our Event’s season is a chance to renew and form new friendships. We all can’t wait.’
