FGH Security is proud to announce that we have secured the contract to supply security services to Lancaster City Council at their White Lund Depot. We will supply security to the site on a 24/7 basis and deal primarily with access control and loss prevention.
The White Lund Depot is a base for a range of council vehicles across several services, but it is most particularly used as the central depot for waste disposal vehicles and other essential maintenance vehicles. We have previously worked with Lancaster City Council to provide large scale security for events and to provide ad hoc security cover. We are looking forward to taking our relationship with them to a new level.
During the tender process we were successful against 29 other security companies, enabling the council to appoint a local organisation with the ability to deliver a higher quality of service than any competitor.
Although the current service provision was described as fit for purpose we are looking forward to improving the service through innovations in both technology and procedure. Technological innovation will include real time data and advanced electronic data and evidence gathering packages to improve loss prevention. Procedural innovation will include new access control measures to ensure the site remains secure to unauthorised people.
We are also keen to embark on an extensive programme of development with the security team we will deploy to the site. Through a focus on customer service and positive interaction and training on implementing the new procedures effectively we intend to create an unparalleled service provision.
