Give Something Back is at the core of our values, and we are proud to have recently sponsored CancerCare North Lancashire and South Cumbria’s annual Santa Dash in Lancaster.
This is our 14th year supporting this charitable event. Our team members volunteer their time to help with Keeping People Safe and guiding those taking part.
The dash is a 1.5 mile fun run around the city centre in Christmas outfits and jumpers. For those looking for a longer race, there’s the Christmas Cracker 10K or the Turkey Trot Half Marathon.
Just taking part helps to raise funds for CancerCare’s support services, with many people additionally collecting sponsorship. There’s a special prize for the entrant who raises the most money. For all of their effort, they will be offered the chance to turn on the city’s Christmas lights on stage.
Peter Harrison MBA, FGH Security Founder and Managing Director, has been supporting the charity as a trustee for eight years.
