The new contract includes 5 separate one-off music festivals with up to 250,000 people in attendance at each one.
The five events will take place across the whole stretch of the UK including: a central London site (likely to be Hyde Park), a central England site, a Welsh site, a Scottish site and a site in Belfast.
FGH Security, the UK’s most decorated security company, and the only security company to ever feature in the Times Top 100 list was a natural choice for the events. However, representatives from the UK government and the FGH Security MD held talks over the weekend, including a final negotiation that lasted long into the night with UK PM Theresa May.
After deciding the country is unhappy with the current delays over Brexit, parliament have decided they want to cheer everyone up.
Tickets are completely free! Each music festival is to be given one of two themes, that will be put down to a people’s vote. There will be a choice between:
- BrexFest; a celebration of the UK’s independence with iconic bands including the The Libertines, Radiohead and The Corral. Food will include Traditional Breakfasts, Sunday Roasts, plus Fish & Chips. Union Jack Flags will fly across every flagpole.
- RemainRave; a celebration of all things European with iconic DJ’s including Tiesto, Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia. Food will include Paella, Pizza & Pasta, plus Frogs Legs.
