The Festival Supplier Awards celebrate outdoor events and all the suppliers and production teams who deliver them.
Earlier this year, we were awarded ‘Best Crowd Management/Security‘ by The Festival Supplier Awards. We were previously presented with the same award in 2020, 2019 and 2018. We are proud to announce that we have been shortlisted for this award again, for the seventh year.
Our first-ever festival was at Kendal Calling back in 2006, with Peter Harrison heading up a small team to provide the security. Founded by From The Fields nineteen years ago, Kendal Calling has continued to grow, getting bigger and better each year.
Our Events and Festivals sector has grown significantly since, making up approximately half of our total business. We continue to supply security and stewards to festivals across the UK including Glastonbury, Kendal Calling, and Board Masters, as well as at Showboxx in the French Alps and Mainstage festivals in Albania.
Over the past year, we have continued to offer Level 2 Spectator Safety for free to all employees. Twenty-four supervisors and managers have completed Level 3 Spectator Safety, and six managers have completed Level 4 Spectator Safety Management. Additionally our supervisors and managers responsible for welfare and evictions were trained to QCF Level 3 in Safeguarding.
