On the 30th August we deployed SIA Licensed Security Staff and Stewards to Electric Fields, held in the stunning forests of Dumfries & Galloway in Scotland.
Electric Fields is known for being one of the best outdoor festivals in Scotland and is built around Drumlanrig Castle. The event is geared to be family orientated friendly and offers fantastic music in an intimate and unique setting, packed with fun activities to add to the luxury experience. The line up this year included artists such as Noel Gallagher, James and Public Service Broadcasting.
15,000 people arrived across the course of the weekend with numbers peaking on Saturday with over 10,000 people attending. Feedback about the team we deployed from the organisers and customers has been fantastic;
With the festival season now drawing to a close, and next week we look ahead to Festival Number 6 on the North Welsh coast.
Event Security Manager Tim Ratcliffe said, “This weekend was smooth sailing, a very good event! The weather was nice and we had a lovely crowd. Electric Fields was a fantastic opportunity to shine in front a family friendly audience. Our team performed really well and showed us in the best light for our first gig in Scotland. Also, Leftfield were amazing I’ve been following them since I was young and they were great to see live!”
