This weekend sees the opening of Manchester’s newest and most exciting bar and eatery; friendly FGH faces will be at hand to meet and greet enthusiastic revellers. Alberts Schloss has been two years in the making and is described as ‘Bier Palace & Cook Haus’; a Bavarian/Bohemian/Alpine bar, restaurant and stage. Inspiration for the venue has been drawn globally and the décor has been enhanced by reclaimed materials procured nationally. The tiles which grace the door way of the venue, for example, would once have been found in a mental asylum near Preston!
Alberts Schloss is located on the bottom floor of The Albert Hall, a 3000 capacity music venue to which FGH have been deploying experienced security personnel to since 2013. The renovation of the ground floor into a unique Bohemian beerhouse is new venture by Mission Mars (the founders of the Trof group and Revolution bars). The venue is indicative increasing popularity of the nightlife on and around Peter Street. ‘Peter Street is quickly becoming the place to see and be seen in Manchester’ say Peter Harrison, FGH Managing Director, ‘Alberts Schloss and The Albert Hall are venues that have turned around this once overlooked area of Manchester. FGH is delighted to be at the forefront of this new and exciting direction for Manchester’s nightlife. These popular and exclusive venues are the perfect compliment to FGH’s now renowned brand of customer care.’ Ben Knott, FGH Senior Manager, sees FGH and Mission Mars as working together as a positive force to alter preconceptions of Manchester’s nightlife and Manchester’s Door Supervisors. ‘In a way’, says Ben, ‘Mission Mars and FGH are both trail blazers. We have liaised extensively to ensure that Schloss has staff that are a perfect fit with the venue and we have procured uniform that matches the fashionable, exclusive vibe that Mission Mars has worked so hard to create. We are delighted to continue our working relationship with The Albert Hall and Alberts Schloss. Our priority is ensuring that our customers are getting exactly what they need from their security provider’.
Alberts Schloss opened its doors to the general public today. It promises to be a fabulous, Bohemian extravaganza: food glorious food, blooming good beer and exhilarating entertainment- already the buzz around this place is tangible. We can’t wait!
