We are made up of a number of separate divisions each with the aim of being the very best in their own respective field, from Retail Guards through to our Alarm Installation Teams. We take a detailed look at your actual needs and requirements, carry out full detailed risk assesments (done by qualified experts) and make practical recommendations on what will solve it in the best possible way and implement all the component parts perfectly.
We blur the borders between just providing a traditional security service and aim to work as a 'business development partner' adding value to every one of our clients’ operations. It’s a grand ideal to have but in our experience it has always worked as an effective business model from when FGH was founded in 2003 right the way through till today.

FGH Security holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Door Supervision and Security Guarding services. We were one of the first companies to be awarded with this in the country and defiantly the first in our main geographical operational area of north Lancashire and south Cumbria. Based on our last full audit conducted by the National Security Inspectorate in 2009 we are ranked in the top 25% of Approved Contractors nationally. We were also winners in 2009 of the Security Excellence Award for Best Practice in Door Supervision and were finalists in four other categories (Security Guarding Company of the Year, Contract Security Manager of the Year, Event Security Team of the Year and SIA Approved Contractor Champion of the Year). The Security Excellence Awards are internationally recognised as the highest accolade for the UK security industry. We beat hundreds of other entrants to receive the highest number of nominations for any one company. So when we say we’re the best it’s not an empty statement, we almost certainly are.
We are currently a member of the select Aspire 100 initiative brought together by the Security Watchdog and designed to offer representation to national, regional and local contract manned guarding companies, who are currently not ranked in the Infologue Top 20 Guarding Companies (which monopolise 89% of the national guarding market). Plus, we are currently working towards National Security Inspectorate Gold Standard Accreditation.
Community wise we are proud members of the Lancashire Partnership Against Crime, Kendal Businesses Against Crime and work in partnership with all Police forces in our operational area on a daily basis and/ or specialist projects.
